Meet Thor, our little ‘god of thunder’…

Baby In Show winner at his 3rd show, a great achievement! The 1st EVER class in show winner for the breed in Australia, and on the 5th of September became the 1st for the breed to win a Runner Up Best in Group, he is now a multi RUBIG winner! Thor is also a multi class in group & class in show winner, showing consistency by being awarded from the baby class right through to today as a Junior, not bad for a rare breed! This boy has exceeded our expectations, and some!

Thor gained the final points on the 22nd of August 2010 to become an Australian Champion, emassing over 230 points in the process. Making him, along with his sister Inga, the youngest Australian Champions for the breed in Australia. Thor is also the 1st & only male Australian Champion White Swiss Shepherd Dog.

With a glamourous long coat, he’s a big fluffy smooch of a boy, always wanting cuddles from everyone he meets.

Thor is a handsome, laid back & friendly dog. With an absolutely sound temperament, he is proving himself as an excellent dog for Junior Handlers, coming 1st place with Josh Rattray on Thor’s first occasion entering the ring for a Junior handler competition. He has had multiple placings with Josh and other Junior handlers.

Thor has recently sired his first litter with Kesari of Skah Dakota (imp NDL) at Saffioraire Kennels in Victoria.  11 pups were whelped on the 29th of November 2011.

We look forward to the future with our boy & to see him contribute to the breed in Australia.
